I am group fitness POUND Pro! I have been teaching group fitness since 2017. It wasn’t until I got into group fitness I found out how much it can do for me physically and mentally. I suffered from a car accident back in 2008. I wasn’t able to squat or lunge without being in so much pain. I suffer severe back issues from my car accident. Once I experienced group fit experience and then deciding to teach things changed. It’s done so much to strengthen my body and soul. I use to be a heavy smoker for years. One of the best decisions was to quit. Made me realize nothing is impossible. It says it in itself “I’M POSSIBLE”.

I absolutely love the way music, dance combined with fitness can create so much happy in a room.  Love being able to bring the community together to get to learn from each other and have the human connect. To be in a space judgment free and to just be, have fun is what it’s about. Sharing happy moments is what gives me life. Looking forward to getting to know you all at Alta Climbing!

As an Arizona native, my childhood was spent outside. We were constantly riding bikes, hiking, and exploring all that nature has to offer.

I was a member of my high school drumline and spent my summers lifeguarding at our local pool. I fell in love with the world of functional fitness and athletic performance in college. Every spare moment was spent rock climbing and hiking, taking fitness classes and swimming. 

I received my BS in Exercise Science from NAU in December 2020, and went on to receive my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification (CSCS) from the NCSA in May 2021. I love to move in every capacity, whether it be functional weight training, plyometrics, or Olympic lifting. 

I’m a wife, mama, and friend to all, with a goal to make fitness accessible to all people.


Autum has been teaching fitness and coaching sports for 30 years. She has taught all styles and ages! People, movement and music are what drive her. She and her husband Dave have 4 children, 1 grandson and a granddaughter on the way. Autum looks forward to meeting you and teaching fitness at Alta!


Crystal Nelson is a fitness professional with over a decade of experience teaching yoga, group fitness and personal training in gyms, corporate fitness and yoga studios.  Her passion lies in helping others achieve their fitness goals in an approachable and progressive way to create confidence and lasting change.

Crystal believes that exercise, nutrition and mental health work together to help you live your best life.  She specializes in structured workouts to include individualized challenges and variety to keep it interesting while producing results. This personalized approach using incremental change is highly motivating for all levels.   It’s never too late to start your fitness journey!

Crystal has lived in Chandler/Gilbert for 20 years where she and her husband have raised 2 daughters. She enjoys hiking, yoga, being outdoors and traveling. She provides both yoga instruction and personal training.
