Step 1
Complete your waiver
Before anyone can climb, we require a signed waiver for safety and insurance purposes. This ensures you understand the risks involved with climbing and confirms that you agree to follow our safety rules. Filling it out online ahead of time saves you time at check-in and helps us get you on the wall faster, so you can spend more time climbing and less time with paperwork.
Step 2
Claim your discounted day pass
We make it easy to try climbing with a special first-visit day pass. It includes all-day access and gear rental, so you can focus on having fun, not logistics.
Step 3
Sign up for an intro class
This is optional, only if you’d like a guided introduction. Our climbing classes are aimed to help you feel confident, safe, and supported as you experience climbing at Alta. Check out which of our classes best fit the start of your climbing journey.
Step 4
Review our First Visit Guide and FAQs
This is just a quick check-in so nothing catches you off guard. Our First Visit Guide and FAQ walk you through the little must-know details so you’ll walk in knowing exactly what to expect.
Step 5
Choose Your Alta Location
Alta Climbing has two great gyms in the East Valley—Chandler and Gilbert. Both offer top-notch walls, friendly staff, and a welcoming community. Pick the one that’s most convenient for you, and let’s get you climbing.
